Glad to see the season get started but waiting until next week to get serious about wagering. Never have liked risking much on plate races, and with all the changes on the Cup side may skip tomorrow altogether.

But for today, played two small:

0.50 unit Regan Smith (-105) over Sam Hornish

0.50 unit Dale Jr. (+100) over Matt Kenseth

WOW!!! What a race!! I hope everyone is ok, both fans and drivers. Would of won them both if not for the wreck! Good Luck this year and ill be following you!!

Wreck reminds me of Talledega at Bobby Allison back in the day. I was there as a little kid at the time. Parts landed in our section, and I still have the pictures from that day. I still remember my Mom giving my Dad hell when we arrived home too as I had to go to school the next day, and we got home about 5 hrs later than we should've bc they had to repair the fence, which took hours and hours. First time in my life that I thought the flagman was in Danger. the car almost took the flagstand out like it was nothing.

Yes reminds me of Carl Edwards at Talladega a few years ago when he went barrel rolled into the retaining fence on the last lap. God what a wipe out. Hope everyone can come out OK with no lingering effects.

Echo that as well, looks like no one is in grave condition and that is great to hear........and beerfertoad, that is exactly why I hate wagering on plate races. The wrecks always get me, already glad I sat out the 500 today, I'm sure I would have had something on Smoke and Kahne.
